Kolkata: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has recently shared a tentative schedule for its upcoming entrance exams. As per the official notice, PUBDET 2025 will be held on June 21, 2025 (Saturday) and June 22, 2025 (Sunday), while PUMDET 2025 is scheduled for July 27, 2025 (Sunday). However, the board has clarified that these dates are tentative and could change if there are any unavoidable circumstances.
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct an OMR-based test for two key entrance exams for admissions to Presidency University in Kolkata: PUBDET-2025 and PUMDET-2025. These exams provide a gateway for students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at one of Kolkata's most prestigious universities.
Presidency University Bachelor Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) is for admission to BA and B.Sc programmes and Presidency University Masters Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET-2025) is for admission to MA and M.Sc programmes.
Both exams will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based), and it will be 90 minutes long. The medium of instruction is English for all subjects, except for BA/MA in Hindi and Bengali, which are conducted in their respective languages.

Candidates applying for PUBDET 2025 and PUMDET 2025 are required to pay the application fee of INR 500, along with any applicable bank service charges, to complete the application process. The payment can be made through various online modes, including Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card/UPI (Unified Payments Interface) etc.
