NEET 2025 Exam Date (Out): Get New Exam Pattern, Admit Card Date, Counseling Process
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET, the national-level medical entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BAMS, Veterinary, and other medical/paramedical courses in India with 13 languages. Annually, over 20 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
Kolkata: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that NEET UG 2025 exam will be held on May 04, 2025, in pen-and-paper (offline) mode. Registered candidates can expect the city allotment slip to be released by April 26, 2025, and admit card on May 01, 2025.
NEET 2025 exam pattern has been modified, eliminating optional questions and reducing the total duration from 200 to 180 minutes. The revised structure now consists of 180 mandatory questions (45 per section), while the marking scheme remains unchanged.

Registered candidates can download their NEET 2025 admit card by logging in with their application number and DOB. They must keep both hard and soft copies, though only the printed hard copy is required at the exam center.
The admit card will be accessible online mode only. Registered candidates must visit NEET 2025 website and follow the steps below to download it:
NEET 2025 counselling is expected to begin in the fourth week of July 2025 (or by early August), following the result declaration by June 14, 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling online for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while state authorities will handle the 85% State Quota (SQ) seats.
The process will consist of 5-6 rounds, with possible extensions based on seat vacancies. The final round (institute reporting) requires the physical presence of qualified candidates for document verification and admission completion.
