Kolkata: JS Institute of Design (JSID) is offering a great scholarship for students who passed the UCEED exam. If your UCEED rank is 2000 or below, you can get a 25% scholarship on tuition fees for their undergraduate design courses.

Candidates who wish to apply for JSID's design programs should fulfill the JSID admission 2025 eligibility criteria, however, if candidates have already taken the UCEED exam, they can skip the CIT test, their UCEED scores already showcase their design skills. Ans: No, VIT School of Design (V-SIGN) at Vellore Institute of Technology is not a participating institute for UCEED 2024. However, in UCEED 2023, the institute functioned as a result-sharing partner, meaning it considered UCEED scores for admission to some seats in its undergraduate design program. The list of result-sharing institutes is revised annually, so it remains uncertain whether VIT will continue this arrangement for UCEED 2024. If included, the institute may offer partial admissions based on UCEED 2024 performance.
Ans: UCEED 2024 offers 225 B.Des seats across six participating institutes, including newcomer IIT Roorkee. This marks an increase from 205 seats in 2023. Admissions are based solely on UCEED 2024 merit scores. Among these institutes, IIT Jabalpur has the largest intake (66 seats), followed by the highly competitive IIT Bombay (37 seats). All seats are allocated across categories (Open/SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD) as per government regulations.
