Kolkata: JEE Advanced 2025 mock tests for Paper 1 and Paper 2 on jeeadv.ac.in launched by IIT Kanpur. Candidates can practice without logging in to familiarize themselves with the question format and enhance their time management skills. The mock test links are now active.

Eligible candidates need to register for JEE Avanced 2025 between April 23rd and May 2nd. The deadline for fee payment for registered candidates is May 5th. JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled on May 18th.

  • Step 2: Go to "Examination" and select "Mock Test."
  • Step 3: Mock test links will be there.
  • Step 4: Click the link for starting free mock test for the paper you chose.
  • Step 5: Click on Login Window.
  • Step 6: Read instructions and click "Next."
  • Step 7: Choose your preferred language: Hindi or English, tick the box, and click "I am ready to begin."
  • Step 8: JEE Advanced 2025 mock test will start. Attempt it.

Ans: The question palette on the right side of the screen uses the following color-coded symbols given below in JEE Advanced 2025 mock test to indicate the status of each question:

  • Gray: You haven't been to the question yet.
  • Red: You have looked at the question, but you haven't responded.
  • Green: The question has been addressed.
  • Purple: You have visited the question, tagged it for future review, but have not responded.
  • A green circle surrounded by purple: You have marked the question for review in addition to providing a response.

Ans: Candidates may choose any question from the ‘Question Palette’ on the right side of the screen. The "Save & Next" button for the current question must be clicked in order for the response to be saved; otherwise, it will not be recorded. If a candidate wants to mark a question for later review (regardless of whether they've answered it), they should click the "Mark for Review & Next" button to proceed to the next question.

Ans: To answer a question, candidates need to follow the specific procedure for that question type. If they wish to change a previously saved answer, they must first click the "Clear Response" button and then answer again. Select "Mark for Review & Next" option if you want to mark a question for review without responding, then. If they've answered a question and want to mark it for review, they also use the "Mark for Review & Next" button; importantly, answered and reviewed questions will be evaluated.
