IIM Mumbai achieved 100% placements for its 2023-25 batch. Microsoft offered the highest package at INR 54 LPA, while the top 10%, 20%, and 50% of students secured average packages of INR 47.5 LPA, INR 41.2 LPA, and INR 34.1 LPA respectively. A total of 198 companies participated in the placements.
Kolkata: IIM Mumbai has successfully placed all its 2025 batch students in jobs. The top salary offered was INR 47.5 lakh per year, while the average pay for the best 20% students was INR 41.2 lakh annually.
A total of 198 companies took part in IIM Mumbai's placement drive this year, offering 10% more jobs than last year. Since becoming an IIM (after transitioning from NITIE), the institute's reputation has grown, drawing top employers from consulting, e-commerce, healthcare, and other sectors, according to an official statement.
Prof. Manoj Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai, said: "Becoming IIM Mumbai and training students in high-demand skills helped us achieve this success. Our students have shown they can compete with the best in tough job markets."
This year, pharma and healthcare companies made 130% more job offers, the highest jump among all sectors. Retail and e-commerce saw a 48% rise, while consulting firms increased hiring by 29%.
The placement season saw strong participation from leading companies, with Accenture emerging as the top recruiter by making 41 job offers at an average annual package of INR 45.37 lakh. PwC India and PwC US Advisory extended 18 and 10 offers respectively. Other prominent recruiters included Alvarez & Marsal, Of Business, Praxis Global Alliance, Vodafone Idea, Workday, and ZS. According to the institute, its enhanced curriculum focusing on cutting-edge domains like digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics has strengthened its reputation for producing business-ready graduates equipped to navigate dynamic industry demands. This academic emphasis, combined with consistent placement performance, continues to position IIM Mumbai as a preferred talent destination for corporate recruiters.
IIM Mumbai's emphasis on in-demand skills continues to draw top companies from various fields, offering diverse roles in finance, sales, marketing, and product management. Alongside regular recruiters like Accenture, PwC, and Blinkit, 40+ new companies participated this year.
With average salaries rising by 5%, IIM Mumbai has further solidified its reputation as a top B-school, providing students with high-paying career opportunities.
