To be eligible for M.Tech programs at IIIT Delhi, candidates generally need a B.E./B.Tech degree in CSE/IT/ECE/EE, or an M.C.A., or an M.Sc. in Mathematics/Statistics with at least 65% aggregate (or equivalent CGPA).

IIIT Delhi offers M.Tech programs in various specializations, including: MTech (Research)-Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), MTech-CSE, MTech-Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), MTech-Computational Biology (CB), MTech-CB through the DBT admission process.

Admissions will be based on the IIIT Delhi Postgraduate Computer Science and Engineering Admission Test (PGCAT), which will be held on May 04, 2025.

What is IIIT Delhi M.Tech Admission 2025 Withdrawal and Refund Policy?

If you decide to withdraw IIIT Delhi M.Tech admission 2025 fees after securing admission, follow the steps given below:

For full refund submit your withdrawal request before July 04, 2025 (05:00 PM) to receive a full refund, excluding a processing fee of Rs.1,000.
If withdrawal request submitted after July 04, 2025 (05:00 PM) you will only be eligible for partial refund. In this scenario you will get the security deposit (Rs.10,000) only.

Ans: If you fulfill the eligibility criteria you may apply for M.Tech (CB) + M.Tech (CSE), M.Tech (CB) + M.Tech (ECE), M.Tech (CB) + M.Tech Research (CSE). But you cannot apply for both M.Tech (CSE) and (ECE) together. If shortlisted for multiple programs, you will be permitted to participate in the selection process, however you will ultimately get admission and award degree to only one program.

Ans: Gate score is not mandatory for M.Tech (CSE/ECE) under Non-GATE seats but it is mandatory for M.Tech (CSE - Research) and M.Tech (Computational Biology - CB) to get admission in M.Tech programme at IIIT Delhi.
