IGNOU has officially announced an extension for the submission of academic documents including assignments, project reports, fieldwork journals, practicum reports, dissertations, and internship reports for the June 2025 Term-End Examinations (TEE). The new deadline is April 30, 2025, as per a notice shared on the university's official X (formerly Twitter) handle on March 31, 2025.

This extension applies to students enrolled in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs, online courses, as well as specialized initiatives like the Guyana Online Academy of Learning (GOAL) and Education via Broadband (EVBB). The university stated that the decision aims to give learners additional time to complete and submit their work without undue pressure.

Alongside the submission deadline extension, IGNOU has announced the exam dates for June 2025 term-end examinations. The exams will start on June 2 and continue till July 11. Each day there will be two exam sessions - one in the morning from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM, and another in the afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
