ICAI launched the SPMT portal for flexible, personalized learning. Part of their new education scheme, it provides guidelines for those who completed required learning hours

Kolkata: Recently, ICAI launched the SPMT portal for flexible, personalized learning. SPMT tests are conducted daily, excluding government holidays, across India and internationally. ICAI has stated that test centre details are available in Annexure I.

This development follows the ICAI's recommendations to the Lok Sabha select committee on the Income Tax Bill 2025, which aims to simplify the legislation. The 31-member committee will present its report before the next parliamentary session. 

In addition to digital resources, physical study materials, e-books, and video lectures are provided for SET A and SET B. Candidates who have completed the learning requirements for SET A, B, C, and D are eligible for the SPMT. A minimum of 50% is required to qualify in each module. There is no limit on attempts, and no negative marking. SPMT scores are not included in final exam marks.

  • Step 2: Select your desired exam date, city, and time slot. 
  • Step 3: Pay the required examination fees. 
  • Step 4: Upon successful payment, a registration confirmation will be provided. Keep this confirmation for your records.
