IBSAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines for CBT Mode: Check Do's and Don'ts

IBSAT is the entrance exam for admission to ICFAI Business School (IBS) campuses located in Hyderabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, and Mumbai. Every year, around 25,000 candidates appear for this exam to secure admission to these campuses.

Kolkata: IBSAT 2025 exam is tentatively scheduled for the last week of December 2025. Candidates appearing for the exam must carefully review the exam day guidelines provided by the authorities. Strict adherence to these guidelines is mandatory, and any violation of the rules may lead to disqualification.

IBSAT 2025 exam will be conducted in remote proctored mode across various states in India. Candidates can take the exam on the date and time they select during the registration process. The exam duration will be 120 minutes, and the question paper will be divided into four sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, and Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation and the question paper medium will be in English. There will be no sectional time limit, allowing candidates to attempt any section at their convenience and manage their time effectively.

IBSAT Exam Day Guidelines: Do's

Candidates must log in one hour before the exam start time.
Make sure that your laptop/desktop meets the software and hardware requirements for the online exam.
Follow instructions and cooperate with the online proctor during the verification process.
Keep IBSAT admit card, valid government issued ID proof (Voter ID/ Driving license/PAN/Aadhar card/Passport etc.), and other necessary documents. Without these, you will not be allowed to take the exam.
Carefully follow the instructions provided by the invigilator on the exam day.
Candidates can attempt questions from any section as per their preference, as there is no sectional time limit.

IBSAT Exam Day Guidelines: Don'ts

Do not have prohibited items such as fashion jewelry like bracelets, chains, rings, eatable items such as chips, biscuits, chocolates, etc.
Candidates taking the exam must not have electronic gadgets such as smartwatches, mobile phones, calculator, commination devices like headphones, earplugs, etc. to prevent cancellation of your exam.
Candidates must not move from their seats without invigilator instructions till completing the exam.
Do not panic if you encounter tricky questions.
Do not stuck on a single question if you find it difficult, move to the next one to manage time effectively.
Make sure you submit the answer key and rough sheet after completing the exam.
