Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, has released the GATE All India Rank (AIR) names and results for all 30 GATE exam papers.
Kolkata: IIT Roorkee, the conducting body, will publish the official GATE 2025 topper list, categorized by subject, on gate2025.iitr.ac.in. GATE 2025 results were released on March 19, 2025. Toppers are those who achieved the highest marks in their respective subjects. The GATE 2025 exam, covering 30 papers, was held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Candidates can utilize their GATE scores for M.Tech admissions and PSU recruitment.
Unofficial sources indicate the following GATE All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) achievers for 2025: Nikhil Sadineni (DA), Abhay Singh (CE), Rajneesh Bijarniya (ME), Jaswanth Bhavani (EC), and Yash Jain (ES). Additionally, expected ranks include Sanket Gupta (AIR 3, ME), Satyeki (AIR 5, ME), and Hemant Reddy (AIR 3, CSE).
GATE 2025 results can be accessed with enrollment ID and password. Scorecards are free to download from March 28 to May 31, 2025. A fee of INR 500 per paper applies after May 31, and scorecards are available until December 31, 2025.

Ans: In 2024, 6,53,292 students took the GATE exam, with approximately 1.29 lakh qualifying, for a success rate of about 18%. In 2023, 5.17 lakh students took the exam, with around 1 lakh passing, giving in a pass rate of nearly 18%. In 2022, around 18.87% of students passed the exam, with 597,030 appearing and 112,678 qualifying.
Ans: Candidates must score between 100 and 200 to be considered for a call from PSUs such as ONGC and IOCL.
