Kolkata: IIT Roorkee has released the branch-wise GATE 2025 schedule on gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The computer-based exam will take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.  GATE 2025 will be held on weekends with two sessions daily. The morning session is from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the afternoon session is from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The schedule includes details about registration, admit cards, the exam, response sheets, answer keys, results, and more.

GATE 2025 will offer 30 test papers from which candidates can select upto two. The exam includes three question types: MCQs (one correct option), MSQs (multiple correct answers), and NATs (answers entered using a virtual keypad).

When will the GATE 2025 Admit Card be released?

The GATE 2025 admit card will be available from January 2, 2025, as announced by IIT Roorkee. Candidates can download it from the official website (gate2025.iitr.ac.in) or GOAPS portal. The hall ticket includes the exam date and time. So it is mandatory to carry both the hall ticket and admit card to the exam center. Changes to the exam center, location, or time are not allowed after the admit card is issued.

The GATE 2025 exam has introduced two new subjects, Geomatics Engineering (GE) and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NM), increasing the total papers to 30.
