Kolkata: GATE 2025, conducted by IIT Roorkee, will take place on February 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th, 2025. The exam will be held in two sessions: the first from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. According to the official instructions found at gate2025.iitr.ac.in, examinees must bring a printed copy of their admit card to the exam location along with a legitimate picture ID, such as a driver's license, passport, PAN card, voter ID, or Aadhaar card.

GATE 2025 (Feb 1-2) and originally planned for Prayagraj, have been moved to Lucknow due to the Mahakumbh. This change is confirmed on the official GATE website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Examinees faced difficulties reaching Prayagraj exam centers due to the Mahakumbh on February 1st and 2nd, 2025. As a result, the Prayagraj exams have been moved to Lucknow on the same dates.
