Kolkata: NBEMS has commenced the online registration process for the Foreign Medical Graduate examination June 2025 session on April 28, 2025, and will remain open till May 17, 2025, at natboard.edu.in.

FMGE exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 26, 2025, and results are expected to be declared tentatively by August 26, 2025. The exam follows a no-negative-marking scheme, meaning no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. To qualify, candidates must secure at least 150 marks out of 300.
FMGE is a compulsory qualifying exam for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India who have obtained their medical degrees from foreign universities and seek to practice medicine in India. Conducted by NBEMS, FMGE assesses whether graduates meet the essential medical competency standards set by Indian regulatory authorities. Clearing this examination is mandatory for obtaining provisional or permanent registration with NMC, allowing candidates to practice as qualified doctors in India.
