CBSE Board has released certain guidelines for 10th and 12th students appearing for CBSE Board Exam 2025. Read the article below to know the detailed guidelines.

Kolkata: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the exam dates of CBSE Exam 2025 for 10th and 12th standard. According to the official announcement, CBSE 10th Board Exam 2025 will be held from February 15 to March 18, 2025. However, CBSE 12th Board Exam 2025 will be held from February 15 to April 04, 2025.

CBSE Board has announced certain guidelines such as eligibility, permitted items, prohibited items, dress code etc. According to the official guidelines students are forbidden to carry any kind of digital devices. Students are advised to carry transparent water bottles and pouches with all essential stationery.

What are the Guidelines for the CBSE Board Exam 2025 for 10th 12th Standard?

CBSE Board has released certain guidelines for 10th and 12th class students. Students should rigidly follow the guidelines while appearing for CBSE Board Exam 2025. The guidelines are listed below:

  • Attendance of 75% is mandatory for all students to appear for CBSE Board Exams 2025.
  • All students must secure atleast 33% marks to pass the CBSE Board Exam 2025.
  • 10th and 12th class students must have the Admit Card with them at the time of CBSE Board Exam 2025. No student will be allowed to sit in the exam hall without an Admit Card.
  • School ID cards are mandatory for regular students.
  • Government-issued photo ID is mandatory for private students.
  • All students are advised to wear simple analog watches. Digital watches, Smart watches and any other electronic devices are prohibited in the exam hall.
  • Mobile phones, Earphones, Bluetooth or any other communication devices are forbidden for CBSE Board Exam 2025.
  • Regular students are required to wear school uniform to appear in CBSE Board Exam 2025.
  • Private students are expected to wear light color clothes for CBSE Board Exam 2025.
  • Students are advised to carry transparent water bottles and pouches with all essential stationery.

Ans: As per current CBSE guidelines calculator is not allowed in CBSE 2025 exam hall for any stream (Arts, Commerce or Science). Only CWSN (Children with Special Needs) category students are allowed to use basic calculators with the permission of the exam centre.

Ans: You can check your CBSE 2025 date sheet from CBSE BOARD 2025 official website. To check the date sheet, you need to visit cbse.gov.in and click on CBSE 10th and 12th Date Sheet link. The date sheet will be visible on the screen, download the PDF for future reference.
