To apply for the Bachelor of Engineering, Candidates must have to go through the eligibility criteria to ensure that they are eligible for admission to the top institutes. Candidates must have to meet the certain eligibility criteria to apply for the B.E. programme. Here are some common Bachelor of Engineering eligibility criteria that the applicant must have to meet :

  • Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 in Science Stream from a recognized institute in India.

  • They should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in their Class 12th board examination.

  • Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks on the boards but some universities also require 75% marks in their 10+2 board exams.

  • For Lateral entry to B.E programme, Candidates should hold a Diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized institute.
