B.P.Ed: Course Eligibility

Depending on the course duration, B.P.Ed. eligibility criteria might change. Here are the eligibility criteria for both ‘3 to 4 years’ and ‘1 to 2 years’ B.P.Ed programme mentioned below :

B.P.Ed Eligibility Criteria for 3 - 4 Years Programme :

• Candidates must have completed their 10 + 2 examination from a recognized board, regardless of any stream.

• Candidates must meet the minimum percentage requirement in their Class 12 examination (usually between 45% to 60%).

• Candidates who have participated in sports at school level or studied physical education in 10 + 2 will get the preference during the admission.

• To apply for this programme, Candidates must be 17 years of age or older.

B.P.Ed Eligibility Criteria for 1 - 2 Years Programme :

• Candidates should have completed their Graduation from a recognized institute and meet the minimum percentage requirement set by the institute.

• Candidates who have studied Physical Education during their Undergraduate studies will get the preferences.

• Applicants should be between 19 to 25 years of age while applying for this programme.
• Both the men and women are eligible for this B.P.Ed programme. However, There are few institutes who has restrictions on married women, rendering them ineligible for this programme.
