The eligibility criteria for the M.A in Economics are almost the same for every university. Various Private and Government colleges throughout India offer M.A Economics degrees. The eligibility criteria for these colleges are determined by the admission conducting authorities.

The candidates must have completed a B.A in Economics.
Few colleges accept candidates who have studied Economics in other degree courses
Candidates must have to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the UG course. The minimum aggregate marks might vary depending on the institute.
