B.A: Course entrance exam

 

  • Admission to BA course is available by filling out the Registration forms and complete other formalities to appear in the entrance exams. Colleges offer this course based on merit or entrance tests like BHU UET, CUET, PUB DET etc.

 

  • After passing the entrance test, candidates have to seat for a Personal interview or Group Discussion round. However, The system of admission to BA course varies from one college to another. Some colleges just seek 40% - 50% aggregate in the 10 + 2 exam and offers no entrance test. 

 

  • Students can pursue distance, correspondence, Part - time and Full - time modes for this course. Whether a student take a specialization subject or not, they must take 5 compulsory subjects with elective ones. The fees of BA program in India can cost from INR 10,000 to INR 1 lakh. After Graduation students can join Civil services or decide to study for higher fields like Master of Arts, Master of Business Administration etc.
