Haldia Institute of Technology Admission 2024 - Eligibility & Selection :

HIT, Haldia offers  Four - year full - time B.E/ B.Tech at the UG level. At the Postgraduate level, The institute offers M.Tech, MCA and MBA under streams such as  Management, Engineering etc. The college also accepts few national - level entrance tests for admission to its PG and UG courses. 

B.Tech : 

• Eligibility - Class 10 + 2 from a recognized board with PCM with 45% marks. 

• Selection Criteria - WBJEE

MBA : 

• Eligibility - Bachelor’s degree in B.E/ B.Tech.

• Selection Criteria - WB PGCET / GATE.

MCA : 

• Eligibility -  Graduation program or BCA course and have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 or Graduation level are eligible to apply

• Selection Criteria - WB - JECA.

 M.Tech : 

• Eligibility - Bachelor’s degree in B.E/ B.Tech.

• Selection Criteria - WB PGCET / GATE.

Haldia Institute of Technology Admission 2024 Admission Process 2024 :

HIT haldia admission process comprises several steps. Students have to go through various selection rounds, pay the fee and confirm the admission. 

Step 1 - Candidates looking for admission in HIT Haldia, have to visit the official website https://hithaldia.ac.in/ The application process will be conducted in online mode. 

Step 2 - Once the application window is closed, Students have to appear for the course specific entrance tests. For some programs national - level exams are accepted. After the exams, student’s name will be out in the merit list. 

Step 3 - If the candidate is selected, They will have to appear for Counselling or Personal Interview. The counselling is done in three rounds. 

Step 4 - After completing the counselling, Students have to submit relevant documents and pay the fee.
