Bengal Institute of Technology and Management [BITM], Santiniketan Admission 2024:Dates,Eligibility, Application Process and Selection Criteria

Admission to this college is mostly Entrance exam based.

Admission to First Year M. Tech :

• Candidates must pass B.E. / B. Tech with four years duration. 
• They also have to appear for GATE/ PGET entrance tests.

Admission to First Year B. Tech :

• Students must have passed class 12 in Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology with 45% marks which is 40% for the Reserved category. 
• Candidates must have at least 30% marks in English. 
• Aspirants have to appear for WBJEE exam. 
• The minimum age limit is 17 and there’s no upper age limit for WBJEE exam.

Admission to Second Year B. Tech (Lateral Entry) : 

• Lateral entry is based on merit and entrance exam. 
• Students have to appear for JELET conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. Or they can provide 50% marks in all the semester to get a direct admission.

Admission to First Year MBA :

• Students must have completed Class 12 and Bachelor’s degree with entrance exams like MAT or JEMAT followed by a Group Discussion or Personal interview conducted by the college.
