SRM University Amaravati provides admission in BA, B.Com, B.Sc., and B.Tech programs at the Undergraduate level and M.Tech. and MBA at the Postgraduate level. This institute also offers Ph.D. programs at the doctoral level.
Admission to these courses is based on entrance exams for courses, such as : B.Tech., M.Tech., MBA etc. While admissions are based on merit in 10+2 exams for courses like BBA, BA and B.Com.
B.Tech. admission is based on the marks of the JEE Main / SRMJEEE / SAT exam followed by counseling. For admission, Candidates must have passed the class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
Admission to the M.Tech. program is done through a valid score in the GATE / SRMJEE (PG) entrance exam. For admission, Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or any equivalent degree or M.Sc. or MCA and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate.
Admission to the M.Sc. program in applied data science is done based on SRM Future Skill Test followed by the interview.
MBA admission is based on the valid score of CAT / MAT / CMAT / NMAT / XAT / TANCET / SRMJEEM exams followed by a personal interview.
Admission to the Ph.D. courses is based on the score on the entrance test conducted by the University. For admission, Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the previous Master’s / M.Phil. degree.
