Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi [IIIT Delhi] : Admission Process 2024 Courses, Fees, Exams,Cutoff, Placements

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi) was established under the act of the Delhi Legislature. It is a UGC accredited State University, located in New Delhi, India. This institute is a provisional membership granted by the Association of Indian Universities and also approved by the AICTE. In the NIRF ranking of 2023, IIIT Delhi has secured the 75th position in the category of engineering. IIIT Delhi offers UG, PG, Dual and Doctoral degree programs in various fields, such as : Engineering, Humanities, Computational biology and Social sciences. B.Tech. is the flagship program offered by this institute. 

For admission to the B.Tech. program, The candidate must have a Higher Secondary Certificate degree with a total of 70% marks in aggregate and 70% marks in Mathematics. Admission to the B.Tech. program is done through JAC. Candidates will require a valid score at the national level exam such as JEE Mains / UCEED by NTA for admission. 

The Tuition fee for the B.Tech. program in the academic year 2020 - 21 was INR 4,50,000 per semester. IIIT Delhi also has maintained an excellent track record in terms of placement. A total number of 762 offers were made for the candidates. Among them, 603 A+ full - time offers were given to deserving candidates and 13 were given CTC between INR 7 to 10.5 LPA. 

The highest salary package offered during the academic year of 2023, stood at INR 51.50 LPA for the B.Tech and M.Tech. candidates. The average salary package stood at INR 23.65 LPA. A total number of 156 companies participated in the placement drive for the academic year 2023.
