IIIT Allahabad [IIITA] Admission 2024:Dates,Eligibility, Application Process and Selection Criteria

IIIT Allahabad offers B.Tech. and M.Tech. courses in various fields of engineering along with the MBA and Ph.D. programs. This institute offers a four - year B.Tech. program, which is considered their flagship program. They have mainly three specializations under the B.Tech program, which are Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and IT Specialization in Business Informatics.

IIIT Allahabad B.Tech. Admission 2024 :

Under the B.Tech., They offer mainly three disciplines, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and IT Specialization in Business Informatics. For admission to this course, The candidate must have qualified for the HSC with a minimum of 75% marks (60% in the case of SC/ST candidates). Admission to this program will be carried out based on merit secured by the candidates in the JEE Mains/ DASA exam. The seats in the B.Tech. program will be allocated through the JoSAA/ CSAB.

IIIT Allahabad M.Tech. Admission 2024 :

IIIT Allahabad offers different specializations under the M.Tech. program, such as : Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, IT, ECE with Specialization in Communication Engineering etc. For admission to this course, candidates must pass a B.E./B.Tech. course in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% in the case of SC/ST candidates). Admission is carried out based on the GATE, followed by CCMT counseling.

IIIT Allahabad MBA Admission 2024 :

For admission to the 2 - year MBA program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% mark or equivalent CGPA. In case, candidates belong to the SC/ST category, then the minimum aggregate marks required is 45% marks or equivalent CGPA. Selection to this program is carried out based on a valid CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT score.

IIIT Allahabad Ph.D. Admission 2024 :

IIT Allahabad offers the Ph.D. program in different departments, such as : The Department of Applied Sciences, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Department of Information Technology and Department of Management Studies. For admission to this course, candidates must have a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. Admission is carried out based on the Entrance exam conducted by the IIIT Allahabad. Candidates who qualified for the GATE/ NET are exempted from taking the IIIT Allahabad Entrance examination and they can directly apply for the Ph.D. program. They will be shortlisted for the final interview round.
