Post Graduate Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST

This is given to the students from the SC/ST categories. Candidates from Pharmacy, Management, Engineering & Technology and other sections can apply for the grant. This is for the Postgraduate students from these departments. 
 

Merit Scholarship Schemes for the Academic Session 2024 - 2025

Eligible students must have up to 25000 rank in the qualifying exam. 100% semester fee is exempted. With ranks from 125000 to 100001 to get 10% semester fee waiver. 

Teaching Assistant Stipend

This option is for ME and M.Sc students with the monthly stipend is of INR 5000 to INR 8000, and it can continue to 10 months a year.

Other Concessions for the Academic Year 2024 - 2025

There are other grants offered at CU such as, Old Student Concession Policy to Promote Higher Education, Single Girl Child Concession, Teacher’s Ward Concession, Sibling Concession, Concession to Girl Sibling, Concession under Armed Forces Educational Welfare Scheme (AFEWS) for Wards/ Spouse of Defense Personnel’s, Concession for Chandigarh University Staff, Orphan Concession, Early bird scholarship and more.

Scholarship for Meritorious Students of Ladakh

Eligible candidates from Ladakh with Senior - Secondary scores over 80% from any CBSE affiliated college or board can apply for this grant. The scholarship amount of INR 1.5 Crore is covered. 

Kalpana Chawla Scholarship for Girls

This scholarship is given to 10 girl students from CU from the weaker section of Chandigarh who has passed 12^th standard exam and wants to study in CU. This is given to the first come first serve basis. Total tuition fee is waived each year, and the total amount is INR 10 lakhs per year. Students of 2024 - 25 can apply for this scholarship.
