Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad was established as a university in 1972 by The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act, 1972. This institute is situated in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, throughout a vast 89 - acre campus. Currently, their four constituent Engineering colleges are located in Hyderabad, Kondagattu, Manthani, and Sultanpur, as well as fifteen additional constituent units on the Hyderabad campus. This institute offers Undergraduate B.Tech programs in 24 disciplines and B.Pharm programs, a five - year integrated dual degree master’s program, M.Tech, programs in 68 disciplines, M.Pharm programs in 11 disciplines, M.Sc. programs in 10 disciplines, and Postgraduate MCA, MBA and dual degree programs.

In the NIRF Ranking of 2022, JNTUH has ranked 76th for B.Tech It secured 80th rank for Overall by Outlook 2019. Furthermore, This institute has ranked 6 for Overall by ARIIA 2020. Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University is accredited by NAAC with a Grade “A+” and approved by AICTE & UGC. As per the NIRF Ranking report of 2021, This institute has ranked 62nd in the category of engineering.

Admission for the courses at this institute is done through the entrance tests TS EAMCET, TS ECET, JEE Main, JEE Advanced and GATE. This institute offers admission for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral courses such as B.Tech., B.Pharma, MBA, MCA, M.Tech., MS, and Ph.D. in various specializations.
