RVCN Application Procedure :

To apply for the RVCN online, you have to follow these simple instructions below :

• Visit to the RVCN website at https://rvcn.edu.in/.
• You have to select the “Admission Link” option.
• Then, select the “Register Now” to register your online account.
• Provide the required details to complete the account registration.
• After registering an account, you can easily apply for RVCN.
   

These are the programs offered at RV College of Nursing :
 

I. B.Sc. Nursing :

The B.Sc nursing program at RVCN is a premier choice for aspiring nurses looking for a transformative education. These programs combine Academic excellence with practical, hands - on experience, and prepare the students for leadership roles in the dynamic field of healthcare. 
 

These are the eligibility criteria for the RVCN B.Sc. Nursing :

• Candidates must complete their 10th and 12th or equivalent examination
•  Must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) for general category students.
• A minimum of 40% marks is required for the students belonging to the reserved category.
• Admissions to the B.Sc. Nursing are offered based on the merit of the previous qualifying examination.
• Admission for foreign nationals is based on their performance in core subjects.
• Candidates can access the application form during April and May. The selection process takes place during June and July. Admissions are finalized by September.
   

II. M.Sc. Nursing :

The Postgraduate is designed to enhance the nursing education and practice quality across India. The advanced course builds upon the foundational knowledge gained at the graduate level. 
 

These are the eligibility criteria for the RVCN M.Sc. Nursing :

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or P.B.B.Sc. Nursing
• Must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in B.Sc. (N) or P.B.B.Sc Nursing.
• There is a certain age limit of 45 years as of May 31 of the year of admission.
• Required a valid professional experience certificate with a minimum of one year after acquiring a B.Sc. / PBBSc Nursing degree.
• The admission will be determined based on the merits of the previous qualifying exam.
• Application forms are available during April and May.
   

III. NPCC :

The Indian Nursing Council has started the Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care Program. It is the first PG nursing residency program in India. This program was approved by the Government of India and launched by the health minister and it Was announced on the INC website in 2017. At RVCN, They have implemented this program since the year 2021 - 22.
 

These are the eligibility criteria of RVCN NPCC :

• Candidates must have a registered B.Sc. nurse with a minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in any critical care setting before Enrollment.
   

IV. Ph.D Nursing :

The Ph.D Nursing was started in this institute in 2022 with the target of enabling the nursing fraternity to acquire advanced Research abilities and preparing nurse educators, administrators and practitioners. It helps the nursing staff to provide patients and clients with evidence - based nursing care in a variety of contexts, including evidence - based nursing practice and teaching. PhD course is 4 to 6 years in course duration and is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University Health Science. 
 

Here are the eligibility criteria for the RVCN Ph.D :

• Candidate must have a Master’s degree in nursing with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Selection to the Ph.D course is based on the entrance exam conducted by RGUHS.
