RV College of Physiotherapy - [RVCP], Bangalore Admission 2024:Dates,Eligibility, Application Process and Selection Criteria

RV College of Physiotherapy offers both UG and PG courses, which are affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. They train the students to become skillful, knowledgeable, competent, self - assured and service - oriented practitioners. 
 

These are the courses offered at RVCP :
 

I. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) :

The course duration of the BPT program is 4 and a half years consisting of 4 years of study and 6 months of internship. This program consists of a genial education course, Physiology, Biomechanics, Neurology, Clinical pathology, Ethics/values etc.
 

Eligibility Criteria for Admission :

Candidates must have passed a 10 + 2 level exam or any equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects with English as a subject of study. For any SC/ST category candidates, the minimum percentage of marks shall be 35% in the qualifying subjects.
 

II. Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) :

The course duration for the MPT program is 2 years. This program prepares the students for the practice of physiotherapy. It enables the students to be knowledgeable, service -oriented, self - assured and adaptable, by critical and integrative thinking. 
 

Eligibility Criteria for Admission :

Candidates must have completed BPT program from an institute recognized by RGUHS with the completion of the compulsory rotatory internship.  Candidates who completed the BPT program through correspondence or distance education are not eligible to apply.
