I. Undergraduate B.Tech Admissions :

1. Entrance exam (MET): 

Candidates must appear for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET). This is a computer - based test conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

2. Eligibility Criteria :

• Candidates should have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ any Technical Vocational subject as optional.

• A minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects.

3. Application Process :

• Online Application: Candidates need to fill out the application form available on the official Manipal University website.

• Application Fee: Payment of the application fee is required.

4. Counselling and Seat Allotment :

• Based on the MET rank, Candidates are called for counselling sessions where they can choose their preferred branch.

• Seat allotment is done based on the rank and availability of seats.

II. Postgraduate M.Tech Admissions :

1. Entrance exam (MET / GATE ):

III. Other Admissions :

1. Lateral Entry : 

For Diploma holders, There is an option for lateral entry into the 2nd year of the B.Tech program.
