IITD offers scholarships to M.SC students with CGPA of 6, and the family income should not exceed INR 450,000 a year. 25% students can receive this grant, with a Tuition fee waiver and INR 1000 per month. If 10% students meet the income criteria, They will get the tuition waver. This is wavers for the SC/ ST/ PwD category students.

MS(R), M.Tech and M.Des students can get Research and Teaching assistantships of INR 12,400 per month. Dual degree candidates in the 5th year with 8 CGPA or more can also get this grant.

PhD students can get Research or Teaching assistantship, which offers INR 31,000 per month for the first 2 years and they can get INR 35,000 per month for the rest of the two years. All PhD candidates can get INR 150,000 as a Travel allowance to a conference during the program duration.

Merit - cum - means (MCM) Scholarships

This is for the student’s family with the income not exceeding INR 4.5 lakhs per annum, and must have a GPA of 6 or more.

Donor MCM Scholarships

This is paid to the students who are facing issues with Tuition fees. The family income must not exceed INR 9 LPA, and Candidates can get it with the JEE Advanced rank and CGPA 7 or more in each academic year at IITD.
