College of Engineering Pune (COEP) is an Autonomous university, established in 1854. It is one of the 3rd oldest Engineering colleges in India. Later in 2022, This institute was granted university status after a notification from the Maharashtra Government. COEP Pune is spread over 36 acres of campus and divided into North and South campuses. In the NIRF ranking of 2023, This institute has ranked 73 out of 200 in the Engineering category.
COEP Pune offers B.Tech., M.Tech., PG Diploma and PhD courses in different fields, such as Engineering, Management, Architecture, etc. B.Tech is the flagship program offered by this institute and admission to this course is based on the MHT CET scores. All India category admission is done based on the JEE Main scores.
For admission to the MBA and PG Diploma courses, Candidates required MAHCET scores.
COEP Pune also mentioned their placement record over the year. The final placement report for 2023 is already out. During the placement drive of 2023, a total number of 709 students are placed, both from the UG and PG programs. The B.Tech program has recorded the highest package of INR 50.5 LPA and the minimum package stood at INR 4 LPA. They also offer summer internships for the B.Tech branch. Some of the major recruiters are Google, Bajaj Auto, Goldman Sachs, etc.
