Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Amethi (RGIPT Amethi) is an Autonomous Engineering college, located in Uttar Pradesh, India. This institute is set up by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), Government of India by an Act of Parliament. This institute has ranked the 79th position in the category of Engineering by NIRF ranking 2023.

RGIPT Amethi offers various courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, such as Engineering, Management, Sciences and Mathematics. B.Tech is the flagship program offered by this institute. Admission to the B.Tech program mandates a Higher Secondary Certificate degree with a minimum of 60% marks. The selection criteria for this course will be based on the JEE Advanced score. The tuition fee for the B.Tech course is INR 1,00,000 per Semester for the General/ OBC/ EWS category and INR 75,000 per Semester for the SC/ ST/ PwD category.
