SOA University, officially known as Siksha 'O' Anusandhan, is a prominent institution located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Courses and Eligibility criteria :

Undergraduate Courses :

I. B.Tech ( Bachelor of Technology)

Eligibility :

• Must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

• Minimum 50% aggregate marks.

• Valid score in SAAT (Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Admission Test), JEE Main, or any other state/national level engineering entrance exam.

II. MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)

Eligibility :

• Must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

•  Minimum 50% aggregate marks.

•  Valid NEET score.

III. BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)

Eligibility :

• Must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent in any stream with minimum 50% marks.

•  Valid score in SAAT or any other recognized Entrance test.

IV. B.Pharma ( Bachelor of Pharmacy)

Eligibility :

• Must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics ,Chemistry , Mathematics / Biology .

• Minimum 50% aggregate marks.

• Valid score in SAAT or other recognized pharmacy Entrance Tests.

Postgraduate Courses :

I. M.Tech (Master of Technology)

Eligibility :

• Must have a B.Tech/ B.E degree in the relevant field.

• Minimum 50% aggregate marks.

• Valid score in GATE/ SAAT or any other recognized Entrance test.

II. MBA (Master of Business Administration)

Eligibility :

•   Must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
•   Minimum 50% aggregate marks.
•    Valid score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ SAAT or other recognized Entrance tests.

III. M.Sc (Master of Science)

 Eligibility :

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field.
•  Minimum 50% aggregate marks.
•  Valid score in SAAT or other recognized Entrance tests.

IV. MCA (Master of Computer Applications)

Eligibility :

• Must have a Bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject at 10 + 2 or graduation level.
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks.
• Valid score in SAAT or other recognized Entrance tests.

Doctoral Programs (Ph.D.) :

Eligibility :

•  Must have a Master's degree in the relevant field.
•   Minimum 55% aggregate marks.
•   Valid score in SAAT - PhD or any other recognized national level test (like UGC - NET, CSIR - NET, GATE).

General Admission Steps :

Step 1 : Application Form

• Online : Visit the official SOA University website www.soa.ac.inand fill out the application form.

• Offline : Obtain the application form from the University campus or designated centers.

Step 2 : Entrance Exam

• Most programs require candidates to appear for an Entrance exam such as SAAT (Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Admission Test), JEE Main, NEET, CAT, GATE, etc

• For SAAT, Candidates need to register, download the admit card, and appear for the test as per the schedule.

Step 3 : Results and Shortlisting

• Results for the Entrance exams are declared on the official website www.soa.ac.in.

• Based on the scores, a merit list is prepared, and candidates are shortlisted for the next stage.

Step 4 : Counseling and Document Verification

• Shortlisted candidates are called for counseling sessions.

• During counseling, candidates must bring all required documents for verification:

• Academic transcripts and certificates.

• Entrance exam scorecards. Identity proof (e.g., Aadhar card, passport).

• Passport - sized photographs. Category certificate (if applicable).Any other relevant documents.

Step 5 : Seat Allotment

• Based on merit and availability of seats, candidates are allotted seats in their preferred courses.

• Candidates must confirm their seat by paying the admission fee within the specified time frame.

Step 6 : Admission Confirmation

• After paying the admission fee and completing all formalities, candidates receive an admission confirmation letter.

• They need to report to the university on the specified date to begin their academic session.
