Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Finance is a Postgraduate level program for two years to teach students about development of Financial management studies. Some colleges also offer one year course based on the studies.
Interested candidates must have an Undergraduate degree and after that they have to appear for entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, SNAP etc. These entrance tests are mostly institute - specific, state and national level. The top colleges that offer PGDM in Finance are : NMIMS, XLRI, IIM Lucknow, IIM Ahmedabad etc. The average cost of the course can be from INR 50,000 to INR 3,00,000.
After completing the program, Graduates can pursue careers like Bankers, Equity Analysts, Financial Planners, Financial Advisors, Investment Bankers and Finance Managers. Students can also pursue PhD after completing the course.
